Keep your daily essentials with you. Pack a separate bag for medication, important documents, chargers, work clothes and anything you will need before move-in day.
Choose a unit around your belongings
Count your boxes and measure the widest and longest pieces of furniture before choosing. Floor area is a starting point; furniture shape, stacking and an access aisle all affect what fits.

Pack once so you can find things twice
- Label by room and priority. “Kitchen — first night” is more useful than “miscellaneous.” Put labels on the sides you will see.
- Prepare furniture before loading. Remove detachable legs where appropriate, keep hardware in labeled bags and protect surfaces during transport.
- Load in retrieval order. Place items you will not need at the back. Keep frequently needed boxes near the door and leave an aisle.
- Store clean, dry items. Let appliances and outdoor items dry fully before packing. Follow each item’s storage instructions.

What do I pay upfront?
Just your first month’s rent. Regular rates are $58, $99 or $116, depending on the size. If you only need storage for part of a month, review the rental agreement and move-out requirements before booking; a shorter stay does not automatically mean a daily rate.
